Easter events
- JC Raulston’s Spring Egg Hunt, which skips the candy portion of the egg hunt and asks visitors to unscramble letters displayed on wooden egg cutouts across the Raleigh arboretum and uncover the secret word. It’s free.
- Southbridge Fellowship’s Helicopter Egg Hunt, which will involve 15,000 eggs being dropped from a helicopter at a Raleigh middle school on Saturday. It’s free.
- And the Museum of Life and Science’s Dino Egg Hunt, which takes a prehistoric spin on the usual egg hunt. Tickets are $7 per egg hunter (plus admission to the Durham museum).
Spring Break Guide
- The first day of the month-long N.C. Science Festival is Sunday. It runs through April and features a variety of free and inexpensive science events across the state.
