11 rescued from capsized boat in Oregon Inlet
The Coast Guard Station Oregon Inlet responded to a report of a capsized fan boat with 11 people onboard.

NAGS HEAD, N.C. — The Coast Guard Station Oregon Inlet responded to a report of a capsized fan boat Thursday.
The boat was less than a mile west of the station and had 11 people onboard.
When crews arrived, they found the fan boat had flipped over and righted itself.
Upon crews inspecting the patients, they found two with severe injuries and the others passengers had non-life threatening injuries.
NC Marine Patrol, Dare County EMS and Nags Head FD assisted in transporting the victims to the hospital for further treatment.
