$100K in cocaine found during Robeson County traffic stop

Robeson County deputies found 4.4 pounds, with a street value of over $100,000, during a traffic stop on Tuesday.

LUMBERTON, N.C. — Robeson County deputies found 4.4 pounds of cocaine, with a street value of over $100,000, during a traffic stop on Tuesday.

Deputies said they pulled over a car on Interstate 95, near mile marker 34.

During the stop, the cocaine, money and drug paraphernalia was found.

Christian S. Hernandez, 42, of Jacksonville, Fla., and Josua V. Morales, 42, of Tampa, Fla., were charged with conspiracy to traffic cocaine, two counts of trafficking cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Hernandez was also charged with maintaining a vehicle for a controlled substance.

The men remained at Robeson County Detention Center under $1 million bonds.
