100 lose power after tree falls on Estes Drive in Chapel Hill

Chapel Hill, N.C. — More than 100 people lost power in Chapel Hill on Saturday after a tree fell on power lines.
According to police, the tree fell after 10:30 a.m. on Estes Drive between Franklin Street and Library Drive.
Officials said the tree did not fall due to a crash. No one was injured.
At 11:45 a.m., police posted an update, saying the road could be closed until at least 5 p.m. while crews work to remove the tree and restore power in the area.
