1 man killed in shooting at Hillsborough apartment complex

Police responded to the Bellevue Mill Apartments at 206 South Nash Street in response to a shooting.

Witnesses told police that a white sedan was seen speeding away from the scene of the crime.

The Hillsborough Police Department said they do not believe the shooting was random and "do not believe there is any danger to the public."

While the man's family has been notified of his death, police said they are "not ready to release the identity of the victim."
