One person was killed and at least seven people were injured in a shooting at a mobile home park in Lumberton on Saturday night.

<b>LUMBERTON, N.C.</b> — One person was killed and at least seven people were injured in a shooting at a mobile home park in Lumberton on Saturday night.

The shooting occurred at the Rowan Mobile Home Park, 1140 N. Roberts Ave., at 10 p.m., Detective Johnny Coleman, of the Lumberton Police Department, said.

Four of the injured people were shot, while at least three others were injured by flying fragments, Coleman said. The victims were taken to Southeast Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.

Officials have not released the name of the person killed or those injured. Investigators are working to establish a motive.
