1 killed, 1 hurt in crash at Fayetteville intersection
One person was killed early Saturday morning in a car crash in Fayetteville.
Posted — UpdatedFAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — One person was killed early Saturday morning in a car crash in Fayetteville.
Police said two cars collided at the intersection of Raeford Road and Hoke Loop Road at around 1 a.m.
A driver of one of the cars was pronounced dead at the scene. The second driver was transported to a local hospital with injuries that police said were not life-threatening.
Authorities closed the intersection for hours to investigate the crash. The cause of the crash has not yet been determined.
