1 killed, 1 arrested in Harnett County shooting
One person was charged Monday following a fatal shooting in Harnett County.

CAMERON, N.C. — One person was charged Monday following a fatal shooting in Harnett County.
Deputies with the Harnett County Sheriff’s Office responded to a home at 70 Mallie Drive in Cameron at about 12:30 p.m. and found Jason I. Spriggs, 35, with a gunshot wound.
Spriggs was pronounced dead at the scene.
Brian Paul Massey, 29, of 6107 Twiggs Court in Hope Mills was charged with second-degree murder in connection with the death. He was being held Monday night under $500,000 bond.
Authorities said the shooting was the result of a domestic incident, but no further details were released.
