HOLLY SPRINGS, N.C. — One man was injured after a Holly Springs house caught fire Thursday morning.

Two men were in the house, on Reef Court near Holly Springs and Sunset Lake roads, and when the fire broke out.

The injured man was taken to the UNC Health Care burn center in Chapel Hill. The other man escaped without injuries. A smoke detector alerted them to the fire.

Holly Springs Fire Chief LeRoy Smith said the fire was contained within 30 minutes.

Sky 5 footage showed the house's roof was severely burned, and part of it had caved in.
