1 Dead After Car Crashes Into Tree
Authorities said one person is dead after a single-vehicle accident in Harnett County.
Posted — UpdatedLILLINGTON, N.C. — Authorities said one person is dead after a single-vehicle accident Friday morning in Harnett County.
According to the Highway Patrol, Isaac Benjamin Noonan, 24, of Lillington, was driving home at 6:35 a.m. on Springhill Church Road when his car ran off the road and hit a tree.
Investigators said Noonan, who was not wearing a seat belt, was killed on impact.
The site of the accident was less than a mile from his home, investigators said.
