GREENVILLE, N.C. — Deputies seized 1,000 Xanax bars with the arrest of a Raleigh couple last week.
Omari Williams and Taylor Susini, who live at the same address, were arrested Thursday in a takedown operation at the Stanton Square Shopping Center on Stantonsburg Road.
The Pitt County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division made the arrests after a two-week investigation into the sale of Xanax.
The two are charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver Schedule IV controlled substance and maintaining a dwelling for purpose of storing, transporting and selling controlled substance.
Williams was jailed on a $50,000 bond, while Taylor's bond was set at $20,000.
