'We need more officers like you': Fargo police officer's good deed doesn't go unnoticed

A Fargo police officer's good deed did not go unnoticed Tuesday, Sept. 19 as an onlooker snapped a photo and posted it on Facebook, where it has since gone viral.

FARGO, ND — A Fargo police officer's good deed did not go unnoticed Tuesday, Sept. 19 as an onlooker snapped a photo and posted it on Facebook, where it has since gone viral.

The Facebook post from Cass Mundy, of Fargo, to the Fargo Police Department's official Facebook page reads:

"Whoever is driving car number 82, we need more officers like you. I watched him stop and escort a homeless man into his car in the pouring rain! Thank you for serving your people!!"

As of 10 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, the Facebook post has generated nearly 2,500 reactions and over 130 shares.
