Who needs the Rock when you’ve got Tiffany Haddish? After pairing with Dwayne Johnson in the smashes “Central Intelligence” and “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle,” Kevin Hart is teaming up with another star, Haddish, in the forthcoming comedy “Night School,” which has just released its first trailer.

Hart (who also co-wrote the script) plays a barbecue-grill salesman who yearns for a career as a stockbroker but learns he must complete his GED diploma first. In comes Haddish as the no-nonsense teacher, who declares he’s “clinically dumb.”

“Night School” reunites the actress with Malcolm D. Lee, director of her 2017 breakout hit “Girls Trip.” The film comes from the prolific producer Will Packer, whose credits include “Girls Trip” as well as Hart’s “Ride Along” movies.

Among the familiar faces spotted in the teaser are “Saturday Night Live” alumni Taran Killam and Rob Riggle. Haddish can also be seen alongside another “SNL” veteran, Tracy Morgan, in the TBS series “The Last O.G.”

“Night School” will be in theaters Sept. 28.
