RALEIGH, N.C. — A festival in downtown Raleigh on Saturday will celebrate the onset of warmer weather with performances, arts vendors and food and beer.
Live and Local will take place on Hillsborough Street between 12 and 7 p.m.

Performances will start at noon and continue into the evening, featuring the Raleigh Rockers dance group and music from Acappology, Little German Band, Huzzah, Mel Melton and The Wicked Mojos and John Brown and The Groove Shop Band.

There will also be performances for kids, including a puppeteer, a hula hoop jam with Imagine Circus and groups from local schools.

There will be over 30 local artists and makers exhibited during the event selling jewelry, ceramics, woodworking, painting and clothing. Kids and adults can try their hand at crafts, too, with activity stations featuring make-your-own bubble necklaces, fairy wands, chalkboard buttons, tote bags and more.

Raleigh Brewing and Del's Lemonde will be serving drinks, and food options will include baguetteaboutit, The Smashed Shack, Pizza La Stella and Off The Hook Seafood and Chicken. There will also be ice cream, funnel cakes and Italian ice.

A complete list of vendors is available at the event website.
