LOUISBURG, N.C. — A 22-year-old Zebulon man accused of 12 vehicle break-ins in three counties was arrested Thursday in Raeford, according to court documents.

Tony Tyler Cole was being held in the Wake County jail under a bond of more than $1 million.

He faces 12 counts of breaking and entering and seven counts of larceny. Warrants allege that Cole stole a laptop computer and digital camera, totaling $1,600 in value, from a man's Ford pickup truck on Nov. 9.

That was part of a string of four vehicle break-ins that day in Franklin County. The other charges stem from break-ins in Nash and Johnston counties, authorities said.
