Heads up! The Zaver digital coupon portal used by Harris Teeter is shutting down. According to a recent article on recode.net, Google has not offered a specific shut down date but indicated that it will take place in the next few months.  I did e-mail my Harris Teeter corporate contact to ask her if they had a time frame for shut down and whether they were going to replace the ZVR coupons with another option. She responded that they also just found out about it and they are looking at options now.
Kroger, the parent company of Harris Teeter, does not use Zavers as their digital coupon platform. Their digital platform is from You Technology , which was recently bought out by Kroger. Harris Teeter may begin using that same platform at some time after the Zavers coupon portal shuts down, but we will just have to wait and see. As most of you know, Kroger does not allow customers to use a digital coupon and a paper manufacturer coupon on the same item, as Harris Teeter does. I am going to venture a guess that our days of stacking digital and paper coupons at Harris Teeter are coming to an end.

As I find out more information, I will let you know.  Until then, let's save as much as we can with those ZVR's!
