You have to see this sign language interpreter steal the show at snoop dogg’s concert (video)

Posted May 11

Snoop Dogg's performance at the New Orleans Jazz Festival has gone viral… and that's fo' shizzle.

While the hip-hop legend can definitely put on quite a show, it's actually an enthusiastic and skilled sign language interpreter we can thank for this awesome video that's circulating on social media.

Holly Maniatty is the certified sign language interpreter who, dare we say it, basically upstaged Snoop D-O-DOUBLE G himself by signing the lyrics of 50 Cent's P-I-M-P while Snoop performed.

The Good Life Radio Show shared the video of Maniatty, and girl can get down. Let's pause for a moment to reflect on just how impressive this is: She's keeping up with a hip-hop song that moves really fast all the while getting funky.

Here's the video, courtesy of The Good Life Radio Show. Warning, there are some explicit lyrics.

In a radio show interview, Maniatty says she spends almost 50 to 80 hours prior to the concert, studying up on the music.

During a podcast interview with American Public Media, Maniatty said: "I definitely am an interpreter that believes that communication is not only language-it's the way you move your body or the way that you don't move your body."

She's garnering lots of fans on Facebook thanks to the video from Snoop's concert.

"The interpreter is Holly Maniatty, my cousin! And she puts her all into studying each artist, not just the lyrics but the body language and gestures. It’s all or nothing; go big or go home! So proud of her," one top comment says.

Another: "Snoop dog (sic) sign language interpreter (sic) is my new dream job!"

This isn't the first time Maniatty has stolen the show. We found another video of her at Bonnaroo, signing for a Wu-Tang Clan concert. (Again, this one comes with an explicit language advisory, so consider yourself warned!).
