Tune in to Mix 101.5 WRAL-FM from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday, when Bill Jordan and Lynda Loveland will be broadcasting live from Duke Children’s Hospital and Health Center as part of the annual Radiothon,  which raises money for pediatric research, patient care and support programs.

You’ll hear first-hand from parents who will share how their children are beating incredible medical odds, as well as young patients who are determined to persevere through dozens of medical tests, treatments and surgeries. You’ll also hear from donors and friends of Duke Children's including Coach Cutcliffe, Coach K and Coach P.

You can make a difference by donating online or by calling 866-684-1015 or 919-684-1015 during the Radiothon to make a pledge.

Here are more ways you can help WRAL and Duke Children's raise funds to support pediatric research and patient care and support programs:

Get your kids involved. Ask your kids to collect loose change and dollar bills from their piggy banks. Bring it to the Radiothon on Wednesday and watch the coins be counted by our large coin machine. Visit Coins for Kids and Piggy Bank Day for more information.

Cheer on the Blue Devils. Duke, UNC and NCSU will compete in the Big Three-Point Challenge to see who can score the most 3-point baskets. BCBSNC will donate $20,000 to the charity of the team that scores the most points. BCBSNC will donate an additional $2,500 for the team that receives the most texts from their fans. Text DUKE to 75309 every day to help Duke Children’s win. Learn more about the Big Three 3-Point Challenge.

Support a Special Family. We’re proud of our Radiothon Family Ambassadors. Learn about their stories and make pledges in their name. (hyperlink)

Hungry? Buy a cupcake at Gigi’s Cupcakes. Throughout February, the Brier Creek location will have Caring Cupcakes on sale in support of Duke Children's.

Check the Time. Bailey's Fine Jewelry is offering a free watch battery replacement in exchange for a donation to Duke Children's.

Go shopping. Old Navy is spreading the love for kids at Duke Children's. Purchase a heart icon, and all the icon sales will benefit MIX 101.5 Radiothon!

Visit www.dukechildrens.org for more information, and tune in to help make miracles for the children at Duke Children’s!
