You can get this secret seasoning on your dole whip at disney

Posted May 26

Everyone loves Dole Whip, the delicious pineapple froth (cloud? custard? ice cream?) you can only get at Disney parks. But did you know there’s a way to make it even better?

Yep–all you have to do is ask for a secret seasoning called Tajín and you’ll amp up this pineapple magic in ways you never knew were possible.

For some, Tajín is no secret. This seasoning mix has been around since 1985 and is made with lime, salt and chili powder. It is traditionally mixed with fruits like mango and watermelon for a deliciously sweet and spicy snack or sprinkled on top of corn on the cob.

Adding it to your pineapple Dole Whip has basically the same flavor-bending effect. The tartness, sweetness, salt and spice all play together in the best way possible to create an amped-up treat you’ll quickly become addicted to.

According to some hot gossip on Instagram, you can score a “complimentary Tajín for your fruit and Dole Whip” from Tropical Imports in Adventureland. Feel free to put the Tajín on everything from watermelon to cucumbers to draw out their natural sweetness.

And if you can’t get to one of the Disney parks but are dying to try this combo, you can order Tajín online from Amazon or find it at many grocery stores. Then, whip up your own Dole Whip at home with this easy (two ingredient!) recipe. You might not be on vacation, but it will sure feel like it–minus the screaming kids, long lines and expensive snacks.

So, will you try the Tajín seasoning next time you visit a Disney park or do you like your Whip in the classic pineapple flavor?

P.S. Bonus points if you use the Tajín to line the rim of a margarita. You can thank us later.
