Thursday Night
Mostly cloudy skies with a small chance of sprinkles or perhaps a light shower. Lows in the upper 30s. Our front rolls through the area this evening. With its passage we cannot rule out a sprinkle or light rain shower. It looks like all the deeper moisture will be gone by morning so it is doubtful we will see any morning flakes. Winds from the north at 5-10mph.
Friday
Mostly cloudy skies to start the day then becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 40s-lower 50s. We definitively feel the colder air in the region this afternoon as high pressure from Canada makes its way into the southeast. The cold air remains in place through the weekend and until at least Monday.
Wind: N, 5-10 mph.
Saturday
Increasing clouds and cold. Highs in the mid-upper 40s. We have an upper level disturbance moving towards us from the northwest today. This will be responsible for increasing our cloud cover this afternoon. This disturbance looks like it will track just to our north so any flurries with this system will affect our northern counties and southern Virginia tonight. The remainder of the viewing area will just see cloud cover tonight.
Wind: NE, 5 mph.
Sunday
Mostly sunny, windy and colder.
Wind: NW, 15-20 mph.
Monday

Wednesday
Cloudy with showers likely.
Wind: SW, 15-25 mph.

Chance of thunderstorms.
