Wrecks snarl traffic across Triangle

— Drivers headed to work across the Triangle dealt with several headaches Wednesday morning thanks to multiple wreck. 

A box truck carrying meat overturned on N.C. Highway 42 east of downtown Clayton about 7:30 a.m., blocking both lanes of traffic. Officials said the road may not open until 11 a.m. 

At about 8:30 a.m., crews closed three lanes of Interstate 40 East near Davis Drive due to a wreck. Those lanes reopened about 9 a.m.

    Clayton is not part of "The Triangle".

    I was on Wade heading west where it turns to 40 and it was backed up to the beltline. Wonder what that was about? Luckily I jumped on the beltline and could get to my destination that way.
