misstl123...you should enroll in an english class at the local community college ASAP. Nope, were not gonna take the driver of the BMW to work. If his license is suspended, he could have walked to work, rode a bike, or bought a moped. Dont try to defend the guy driving the BMW..."right is right and wrong is wrong." If thats the case, he shouldn't have been driving in the first place...

The driver of the BMW had a suspended license. Guess he thinks the law doesn't apply to him either.

the purpose of their lights and sirens is to warn those in front of them, slow traffic or not, that they need them to clear a path. if they are not required to use their lights then why pay for them to have any? I bet seeing them just shot by on the road caused more panic than those lights would have. as for me when i hear the sirens i immediately look around for the lights and adjust accordingly. i don't panic. but when i see a car flying by me without warning i do.

the driver(BMW) was entering a driveway to drop off someone.....NO PANIC....SOME NCHP DON'T APPLY TO THE LAW BECAUSE THEY ARE THE LAW.....AND THERE WAS OTHER WITNESS WHO SAID IT WAS HER FAULT

if she had her lights on they would have been on after the fact just like the BMW'S signal lights was still on

I was in a 45 mph zone and was passed by two different troopers and both had to be running atleast 60-70 mph with no lights or sirens and one of them happened to be trooper Howell... I'm just wondering does the speed limit no apply to the NCHP!!!!!!
    mcase

    Mcase,
Often times Troopers do not acitvate emergency lights or sirens as to not install panic into the public if they have an open path ahead of them. If you see lights you tend to panic as it sounds like this driver did.

witness here, it happen in front of my yard...she didn't have on her light mr. johnstoneredneck.....and was passing four cars that was slowing down fr the BMW that was turning who had on their left turning signal.....now she stated she came up to slower moving traffic right...she should have been mindful of the cars slowing down......but she wasn't..... she was like the fifth car behind them so how could they pay attention to the fifth car behind when the BMW had to focus on in coming traffic?

And this wreck happened a month ago, if it wasn't important enough to post on June 3rd then why is it "news" a month later??

Troopers spend so much time on the road it is nearly a statistical impossibility that they would'nt be involved in an accident at some point. Have ya'll ever noticed that when you get stopped by a trooper they touch the top rear area of your vehicle as they approach the window? They're fingerprinting your vehicle to be used as evidence if they get hurt or killed. Such is the nature of their profession , so show a little gratitude and respect for those who risk their lives for you everyday.
