Capital Boulevard reopens after single-vehicle wreck

Raleigh police closed all southbound lanes of Capital Boulevard near Fairview Road for about two hours Tuesday morning following a single-vehicle wreck.

Officers responding to the scene about 4:30 a.m. found one person that had been ejected from the car in the wreck. 

The victim's name has not been released, but police said they were taken to WakeMed with non-life-threatening injuries. 

No other information about the cause of the wreck has been released. All lanes reopened about 6:30 a.m.

wow, someone was ejected from a wreck (no seatbelt obviously) and has non-life threatening injuries? Hopefully, this person will learn from this; he or she is very lucky and just got a "pass" to continue life!
