LocalYokel, I am not surprised at all to hear that. I'm sure if you asked, the SHP officer would probably say it's the City of Raleigh's jurisdiction, but still, those drivers should have been pulled. Nothing like a bluelight in your rearview mirror to put the fear of high insurance premiums in ya'. I know teenagers who avoid Wade because it scares them. Do you know how hard it is to scare a know-it-all teenager?!?

Stop sign runners, speeders ... stop LIGHT runners .... I've seen it all. You're spot on when you say that bad drivers rule and law enforcement is lacking.

Wade Ave is extremely dangerous with the narrow lanes, speeding, and the blind hills.

That power pole gets hit every two months.

I watched two aggressive drivers come up from behind a SHP trooper on Wade Ave extension this morning. The aggressive drivers were speeding, passing on the left, tailgating, no lights or turn signals.

The SHP cruiser simply got out of their way and took the next exit. Bad drivers rule our roads and our law enforcement is guilty of dereliction of duty.

Probably speeding in the wet conditions as usual.

Western Blvd was also a good option. Surprised they didn't mention that.
