Wreck cleared, traffic moving on I-95 north in Johnston County

— A wreck involving a tractor-trailer shut down Interstate 95 north in Johnston County for hours Tuesday afternoon, the state Highway Patrol said.

Two other vehicles were involved in the wreck, which happened near mile-marker 106, troopers said.

The North Carolina Department of Transportation reopened the lanes to traffic just before 5 p.m.

More details, including the cause of the wreck and whether anyone was injured, haven't been released.

    More than likely more drivers with no respect for tractor trailers, or anybody else on the road for that matter.

    There was an accident on that stretch a week or two ago also, near Kenly. It can get very congested with the truck stop exit. I'm always very careful through that section.
