WRAL's Elizabeth Gardner welcomes baby boy

WRAL's Elizabeth Gardner serves as a meteorologist for WRAL-TV's morning and noon newscasts.

WRAL has welcomed a new addition to its family.

Meteorologist Elizabeth Gardner gave birth to a baby boy Thursday morning. Both baby and mom are doing fine.

Max was born just after 11 a.m. and weighed 7 pounds. He is 19 ¾ inches long.

Elizabeth and her husband, Tripp, also have a daughter, Elizabeth Reese, who was born in October 2005.

    Awwww! He's sooo cute! I bet Reese is gonna be the "little mama" type and try to do EVERYTHING for him!lol That works now but later not so much! ;)
    Is Uncle Bill Leslie gonna write him a lullaby like he did Reese? I hope so! I have Reese's lullaby on my CD "I am River" and even my grandchildren love it! :)
    Congrats to the family! Enjoy the time off, Elizabeth - they grow up sooo fast!

    According to Elizabeth's Blog, Reese was born in October 2005, not December. It's bad when the stats are wrong about one of their own. Makes me wonder about the accuracy of other info on the website....

    Anyway, I am glad to hear mother and baby are doing well and send best wishes to the entire family.

    Congratulations!! His pictures look alot like Reese's did when she was born.
