To help spread the adoption of over-the-air HDTV reception, WRAL-TV has been giving free antennas to viewers in our 23-county market of license who have recently purchased an HDTV or receiver. This antenna giveaway program will end August 31, 2009.

To participate in the giveaway, WRAL requires the following:

1. Copy of the sales receipt for an HDTV or DTV off-air receiver
2. Home address (No P.O. Box numbers allowed)
3. Home telephone number (this is for delivery purposes only. No one will call unless there’s a problem with the delivery).

Viewers must download and fill out the giveaway form (PDF file) and sent it via regular mail (US Postal Service) to:

FORMS MUST BE POSTMARKED NO LATER THAN AUGUST 31, 2009 TO QUALIFY FOR THE GIVEAWAY PROGRAM.

Once the receipt and form are received, we will run a terrain study to determine the antenna model number that will work best for your location.

We will then order that particular model from the manufacturer, and the manufacturer will ship it directly to the address on the form.

Note: The antennas provided with this program are outdoor antennas. As an alternative, these antennas can also be mounted in an attic or, possibly, a large crawl space. WRAL covers the cost of the antenna and delivery; the viewer is responsible for installation.

Due to high demand and manufacturer backlogs, please allow 12 to 14 weeks for delivery of the antenna. Limit one per household.
