Primetime programming on WRAL-TV Sunday will include both local and national commemorations of the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
At 8 p.m., WRAL will air "North Carolina Remembers 9/11," an hour-long program of music and spoken word from the North Carolina Symphony.
CBS’ special, "9/11: 10 Years Later," follow from 9 to 11 p.m.
A repeat episode of "The Good Wife" scheduled to air at 10 p.m. will be broadcast on WRAL-TV overnight from 1:05 to 2:05 a.m.
WRAL will begin the afternoon with NFL football when the Pittsburgh Steelers face the Baltimore Ravens at 1 p.m. followed by the US Open women's final around 4 p.m.
The WRAL News at 6 is pre-empted Sunday. If the tennis match ends after 7 p.m., the concert and CBS special will begin a bit later and air in their entirety.
