Weekend anchor changes

We have some exciting changes coming to the WRAL weekend anchor desk.

Renee Chou will co-anchor the weekend evening newscasts with Ken Smith, beginning Saturday. She'll continue to fill in on the anchor desk during the week.

Bruce Mildwurf will co-anchor the weekend morning newscasts with Sloane Heffernan beginning June 23.

Renee is one of my favorites, and I am so glad that she has a promotion. This will be a wonderful addition. Renee just has a quietness about her, and she is so pretty.
