WRAL-TV's coverage of ACC basketball begins Tuesday night, when the University of North Carolina hosts Miami at 9 p.m.

When the games air on WRAL-TV in the Triangle, CBS primetime programs are shifted overnight, so that fans can record them for future viewing. Here is the schedule for Tuesday's regular dramas:

  • NCIS: Los Angeles has been rescheduled to begin at 1:37 a.m. Wednesday
  • Unforgettable has been rescheduled to air begin at 2:37 a.m. Wednesday

Because live sports can go long, set your DVR for the entire window from 1:30 a.m. to 4:30 a.m. to be sure to get the entire show.

WRAL News at 11 will air immediately following the basketball game.

This practice of replacing regular net work programming with "special interest" programming is intensly irritating.
It would be interesting to get a real vote of viewers prior to foisting these kinds of changes on the viewers.
I really think if a few viewers want to watch the game they should have the opportunity at 1:37 AM.

WRAL has NOTHING to do with the schedule shift. It's CBS who does the scheduling. And it's been going on for 50 years. Deal with it......I love it!!

This is a high priority during the best season of the year. This has gone on since we moved to Raleigh in January of 1966. Why is it "new"??
It's not new!! Get over it!!

Why does'nt WRAL shift ball game to WRAZ??? It's not rocket science. This is one of several reasons I dispise basketball. Leave CBS alone, these shows are the only thing keeping CBS going,,,,, it's certainly not the news.
