You know his voice - now meet the man

Does the name Bill Ratner ring a bell to you? Probably not, but I bet you know his voice. Bill has been WRAL's voiceover man since 2005 and is one of America's leading voice performers.

He can be heard on movie trailers (The Rum Diary, MegaMind, Talladega Nights, etc.), documentaries, commercials, the Discovery Channel (Behind Mansion Walls, I Almost Got Away With It), the Weather Channel and cartoons, such as G.I. Joe, Robot Chicken and Family Guy.

You can also hear his voice on WRAL newscasts, which he does from his recording studio in Hollywood: "You're watching Debra Morgan and David Crabtree ... WRAL News, coverage you can count on."

He also voices our promos, like he did for Monday's extreme weather story: "Tonight, a story for anyone who ever wondered, 'What the heck is going on with the weather?'"

You can hear more of Bill's voiceovers and learn more about him on BillRatner.com.
