Whenever we carry an ACC game in prime time, two hours of CBS programming are displaced. Thursday, it will be two of the more popular dramas, "Person of Interest" and "Elementary."
WRAL-TV and Capitol Broadcasting Company have a long-standing commitment to bring to the forefront issues that confront our communities. We believe that honest, open and balanced discussion can create meaningful change ... change for the better. As part of that, we recognize that the circumstances surrounding the murders in Connecticut expose issues that go far beyond any regulation of guns.
On Wednesday at 8 p.m., WRAL-TV will be carrying the game between Georgia Tech and North Carolina State. "I Get That A Lot," the CBS program that is being preempted at that time will be broadcast on WRAL2, which can be found over-the-air on channel 5-2 or on Time Warner Cable digital channel 106.
The episode of "The Bold & The Beautiful" pre-empted Wednesday for President Barack Obama's press conference will air on Thursday at 1 p.m., immediately before the regularly scheduled episode at 2 p.m.
Beginning this week, we'll get to see the candidates for our top elective offices one-on-one in a series of televised debates. WRAL News is committed to comprehensive coverage that helps you make an informed choice in the Nov. 6 election. We'll bring you seven debates live on WRAL-TV, FOX50, WRAL.com and WRAL mobile over the coming month.
