WRAL's Tara Lynn expecting baby in August

Congratulations to WRAL's Tara Lynn and her husband, who are expecting their first child in August. 

Lynn says her two four-legged children, Baxter and Lilly, are looking forward to becoming a big brother and big sister.

"Our parents are really excited and have already made sure the little one will have some proper UNC gear to wear as a newborn," Lynn said. "We will find out Saturday if we are having a boy or girl."

Lynn said the biggest challenge of her pregnancy so far has been spending five or more hours in a live news truck each morning. 

"It's a challenge if you aren't pregnant. Thankfully, most days we are near a restroom or can make a last-minute stop before the newscast starts at 4:30," she said. "If it happens to be a gas station where I can indulge any cravings (usually fruit juice), even better."
