WRAL's Tara Lynn back after maternity leave

Posted October 21, 2014

The morning crew is so happy to welcome back Tara Lynn, who returned Tuesday after 12 weeks of maternity leave to care for her beautiful new baby, Claire.

Tara, who has always had a passion for photographing pets, turned her camera on her newborn and is sharing some of the adorable photos. Welcome to the WRAL family, Claire!

Precious. Beautiful little baby girl! I know the family is so happy!

All babies are beautiful and I love them all. As mine as grown now, I go out of my way to see photos of babies - all babies. I get so excited when one of the ladies at work is expecting. I'm gonna make a great grandma someday :)

Also in reading some of the other comments, I think WRAL posts way more than just stuff of the people that work there....Instead of asking...why not suggest to WRAL to create some type of newborn pics for babies page....people take more time criticizing then suggesting...PLEASE!

The comments on here are so insane...I mean really. This lady works for WRAL.. DUHHH...that's just like with any job....people are happy that you had your baby and want to see pictures of your just so happens that she works at WRAL and so she is always in the human's eye...hell she works for the what is so wrong about her allowing pictures to be posted of her baby. Some people that are her fans love to see greatness and positiveness of someone...or world is so negative! She is getting and doing the same publicity as they did for Renee Chou...Her baby was on here with pictures of the staff that she works with!! SMH...Tara Lynn and Renee Chou enjoy your motherhood girls!

And I didn't say the baby isn't cute. ALL babies are -- which is my point. Why select only WRAL's to highlight?

I've been happily married for almost 40 years, have 2 wonderful adult daughters. I've long been the only man in the house. As a card-carrying liberal and proud of it, I am completely in favor of gender equality. My comments here are intended to call attention to what I consider WRAL's sexist habit of treating its female "talent" like objects, and doing the same with their babies. Whether they are cute or not isn't the point. It depersonalizes these people by treating as commodities, not humans.
