WRAL News app bug fix for iOS 7 users

The following steps should help correct an iOS 7 bug that causes some users to see no content when the WRAL News app loads.

There is a known bug in Apple's IOS 7 that impacts anyone whose Safari privacy and security option for cookies is set to '"Always" block cookies. On the WRAL News app, this results in the app loading without content. Users can only see the logo at the top and the ad unit at the bottom of the screen.

A permanent fix is on the way in the next release of the WRAL News app, version 3.30, due out later this month.

In the meantime, users can fix the issue by taking the following steps on Apple devices running iOS 7:

1. Go to device Settings
2. Scroll down and click Safari
3. Under the "Privacy & Security'" heading, select "Block Cookies"
4. Select "From third parties and advertisers" or "Never."

5. Shut down the app by double tapping the "home" button and swiping up the WRAL News "app card." Then restart the app.
