The World's Toughest Rodeo returns to the PNC Arena in Raleigh for a show on Jan. 16 that will feature top-ranked cowboys, free pony rides and Whiplash, the Cowboy Monkey.

Tickets are on sale to the general public on Oct. 2, but we have a pre-sale code that will let you get the best seats now!

The code is valid now through 10 p.m., Oct. 1. Go to Ticketmaster.com and type in the code WTRODEO in the box that asks for the offer code. Advance tickets start at $18 for the show and kids 12 and under are half price.

The show features 30 professional cowboys, who test their grit in bareback riding, saddle bronc riding and bull riding. Cowgirls will compete in a barrel racing event. The top two contestants in each event will return for a second time and go head-to-head to determine the night's champion, according to a press release.

And, of course, fan favorite Whiplash the Cowboy Monkey returns atop Boogie, the Border Collie. They'll round up Barbados sheep.

Before the event, which starts at 7:30 p.m., the crowd can meet the cowboys and enjoy free pony rides.
