World Beer Fest, Robots, Cable Guy lead our weekend best bets

Raleigh, N.C. — Our picks for fun throughout the Triangle this weekend!
Raleigh World Beer Festival will take over Moore Square Park on Saturday. Enjoy beer tastings, food and more during one of two sessions. Tickets are still available and are $45 in advance and $55 the day of.
Comedian, actor Larry the Cable Guy will bring his stand-up show to the DPAC on Saturday night. He will be joined by fellow Blue Collar Comedy Tour alum Bill Engvall. There are shows at 5 and 8 p.m. Tickets are still available.
The Hibernian of Raleigh might be closed, but that doesn’t mean their annual St. Baldrick’s Shave-a-Thon isn’t going to happen! They are holding a block party and shave-a-thon on Glenwood Avenue on Saturday starting at 1 p.m. Food trucks Baguettaboutit, Chirba Chirba and more will cater.
Lonerider Brewing Company is also hosting a St. Baldrick’s event at noon on Saturday.
Tanger Outlets in Mebane is hosting a Taste and Style event on Saturday and Sunday. There will be gourmet food trucks and a live cooking demonstration by celebrity chef Curtis Stone. Admission is free.
Let's get ready to robot rumble! You will get to check out the North Carolina Museum of Life and Science’s fleet of combat robots during the Robot Rumble on Saturday. You can even see underwater robots. Check it out from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It is free with your museum admission.
