Workers rescued from eastern NC grain bin

— Rescue crews pulled five workers from a grain bin at a farm northeast of Elizabeth City Monday afternoon, authorities said.

The workers became trapped in the bin at F.P Wood & Son/George Wood Farm, at 113 N.C. Highway 343 South, in Camden.

All five had been rescued by 6 p.m. Two workers were listed in good condition, but the conditions of the others were unknown.

The Camden County Sheriff’s Office, the Camden County Fire Department, the Elizabeth City Fire Department and the South Mills Fire & Crawford Fire Department were involved in the rescue effort.

    Why didn't the article say GRAIN BIN, whats a bin. Like just a bin. Maybe big big if it was big and stuff. -----off

    hope they get them all out. I recall another grain bin trapping a few years back that didn't end so well.
