Worker dies at Roxboro manufacturing facility

Roxboro, N.C. — Authorities are investigating after a person died at a Roxboro manufacturing facility Tuesday morning.
A press release from GKN Driveline said that a fatality occurred at the facility at 1190 Old U.S. Highway 501 at about 10 a.m. The cause of death was not immediately known.
The name of the deceased person was being withheld until family members were notified.
“Our thoughts go out to the family and friends of the deceased,” said Kimberly Byerley, Vice President of Human Resources, Americas. “We’re working closely with the appropriate authorities to determine the details.
