<b>DURHAM, N.C.</b> — Durham police arrested a 21-year-old woman wanted on fraud charges on Thursday.

Ashley Ann Magruder, of of 322 Junction Road, was arrested and taken into custody on Liberty Street late Thursday afternoon.

Police said she stole a pocketbook from a shopping cart at Whole Foods on Broad Street on Aug. 28 and then cashed two checks belonging to the victim.

Margruder was charged with obtaining property by false pretense, uttering a forged instrument and misdemeanor larceny.
