Woman wanted for questioning in Cumberland trucker assault

Posted June 3, 2013

— Cumberland County sheriff’s detectives are searching for a Robeson County woman who is wanted for questioning in an assault last month of a long-haul truck driver.

Deputies said Monday they are trying to find Lutina Oxendine, 38, whose last known address was listed as Lumber Bridge. She is known to frequent truck stops.

A passer-by found Wael Wael, of Jacksonville, Fla., lying in the median of Goldsboro Road near Interstate 95 in the early morning of May 2. The 46-year-old man was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center with severe head trauma.

Wael has not improved and remains hospitalized, authorities said Monday.

Oxendine is described as Native American, 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing about 120 pounds. She has black hair, brown eyes, a tattoo of a rose on the left arm and a tattoo that reads “Lumbee Lady” on her right arm.

Anyone with information is asked to contact detectives at 910-677-5503.

I wonder where she got her 'Lumbee Lady' tattoo.

Clearly the photo is an arrest photo; so tell me WRAL, what criminal background does this "lady" have?

This is why most trucking corporations do not allow anyone inside the cab that does not work for the company. Of course, that rule is only as good as the driver of that rig.

Sounds like what truckers refer to as a lot lizard.

Thoughts and prayers with Mr. Wael and that the authorities locate and apprehend Ms. Oxendine before too much longer.

    I think she did it.
