Woman stabbed near downtown Raleigh

— A woman was transported to the hospital after being stabbed in the neck near downtown Raleigh.

It happened at about 8 p.m. Monday on Bragg Street, near Blount Street.

Police say the woman's injuries do not appear to be life-threatening. Her name was withheld.

Anyone with information on the stabbing is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 919-226-CRIME.

    Please check your last sentence. She wasn't shot. She was stabbed. Or is it vice versa?
