Woman charged in Chapel Hill shooting

Chapel Hill, N.C. — A woman was arrested Wednesday evening in connection with a shooting on West Rosemary Street in Chapel Hill.
Nasheka Renee Clark, 35, was charged with accessory after the fact of attempted first-degree murder. Clark, who also goes by the name Nasheka Hamilton, was being held in the Orange County jail on a $250,000 secured bond.
Officers responding to the 300 block of West Rosemary Street on Friday evening found Ishamel David Hamilton Jr., 31, with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to UNC Hospitals for treatment of injuries that weren't life-threatening, and he was listed in stable condition Wednesday.
Hamilton isn't a University of North Carolina student, police said.
Dennis Junious Clark, 23, surrendered to police Tuesday and was charged with attempted first-degree murder in the case. He is being held in the Orange County jail under a $500,000 bond.
