Woman shot in Clinton

A woman was shot in the Sampson County town of Clinton Sunday evening, according to emergency dispatchers.

Gunshots were fired from a vehicle into a home on Pine Street around 6 p.m., striking the woman, authorities said. She was flown by helicopter to a regional hospital.

Clinton police have not released more information, including the woman's identity and condition.

You Durham people beat all I have ever heard. If you people aren't complaining about all your crime, as if your town was the only town in the world who has crime committed in it, then you are trying to compare all of your town's crime, to any crime in any other town. "If this happened in Durham", get off your high horse. Wake up and smell the toast burning.

If this happened in Durham, it would read, "another drive-by shooting in the Bull City". I guess in Clinton they're alittle more politically correct in their description.
