Woman robbed at gunpoint in Burlington
Burlington police are searching for a man who stole a woman's purse at gunpoint as she was leaving the Dollar Tree store Sunday night.
Posted — UpdatedClementine Self, of Carborro, told police she was in the parking lot of the store on North Church Street when she was robbed near her car about 8:15 p.m.
She described the robber as a young Hispanic man, about 5 five 5 inches tall, 130 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a blue-hooded sweatshirt or jacket with white seams, a white T-shirt and a white bandana on his face.
The victim was not injured.
