Fayetteville, N.C. — Fayetteville police are investigating a reported sexual assault on Shaw Road over the weekend.
A 22-year-old woman told investigators that she was walking around 11 p.m. Saturday when an older model two-door sedan began following her. At one point, a man got out of the car, restrained and sexually assaulted the victim before fleeing in the sedan, which was driven by a second person.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 910-433-1856 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-TIPS.
