Woman killed in wreck at Raleigh intersection
A woman died after a wreck at Lake Wheeler and Simpkins roads late Thursday, the Highway Patrol said.
Posted — UpdatedRALEIGH, N.C. — A woman died after a head-on wreck at Lake Wheeler and Simpkins roads late Thursday, the Highway Patrol said.
Kourtney Elizabeth Rose, 31, crossed the center line and hit a sports utility vehicle, police said. Rose died in the crash. The SUV's driver was not seriously injured.
Police said speed was a factor in the crash.
