Woman killed in Chapel Hill hit-and-run
Chapel Hill police said a woman died Thursday afternoon on Homestead Road after a hit-and-run near the Weaver Dairy Extension.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Chapel Hill police said a woman died Thursday afternoon on Homestead Road after a hit-and-run near the Weaver Dairy Extension.
Police said a dark brown sedan fled the scene in the direction of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
Guo Qi Zheng, 79, of Old Larkspur Way, was transported to UNC Hospitals and later pronounced dead due to injuries from the crash.
Authorities said they have not identified a suspect and that the investigation is ongoing.
