Woman hit by train in Fayetteville

Fayetteville police said a woman was stuck by a train along Winslow Street near the Blount Street intersection Friday around 9:30 p.m.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police said a woman was stuck by a train along Winslow Street near the Blount Street intersection Friday around 9:30 p.m.

Witnesses immediately called 911, and the woman was transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

Anyone with information concerning the crash is asked to contact the FPD at 910-433-1830.
