Please keep your desire to be satiated by every detail in check. Someone lost a child today.

How about some updates or maybe some news? How is the woman? Name of the driver? Was he charged? Name of the tow company. I don't even work in journalism and I could follow up and write a better story than this.

When was the road paved last? Was there a cloud out? Was there gas in the tow truck? Was she listening to an Ipod? You;re funny!

Just left scene. Police still there, Thorton is closed to traffic, but you can still get to Sheetz off of Capital. The crime scene tape is up closing the intersection of Thorton & Wadford. No news on woman involved. Police collecting evidence.

Was she on foot or in a vehicle?

kellypsnll: how about you allow some time for the news to collect those details? breaking news never includes EVERYTHING right off the bat. I don't understand why so many people jump on WRAL for this kind of thing. Chill out and check back later for those details if you honestly care that much.

Go ahead and do all the footwork and write the better story. Post it in the comments. Let's see what you've got, buddy.
